Chase Daknis

Wealth Management Assistant

Chase joined the Point Comfort Wealth Management team in the spring of 2023. Having recently been promoted to the role of Wealth Management Assistant, Chase is responsible for scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing comprehensive reports and client review packages, assisting with due diligence on investments, portfolio modeling, and research.  In 2023, Chase received his SIE, Series 7, and Series 66  Securities licenses (currently held with LPL Financial), and his VA Life, Health, and Annuities licenses the following year. His goal is to become a Certified Financial Planner within three years.

Chase, a recent graduate from Christopher Newport University in 2023, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a specialization in Finance. At the age of 16, he started his own lawn care business, which he continued through college while working part-time at James River Country Club. His commitment to personal and professional growth led him to complete two valuable internships during his time at CNU. The first was at a local small business that provides high-quality equipment and procurement solutions for military, law enforcement, and government professions. The second internship, which truly broadened his horizons, was with a well-regarded regional wealth management firm. In this role, Chase had the privilege of reporting directly to the CEO, gaining invaluable exposure to areas such as investment management, trust services, individual and business retirement solutions, and estate services.

Chase is an active member of Waters Edge Church, where he has served in many volunteer roles, most notably being a group leader for high school students.

Chase was born and raised in Yorktown, VA, where he currently resides with his wife, Zoey, and their two dogs, Axl and Stella.  In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
